Taste of London – Chang Beer
Trinity Set & Stage built a 23m x 10m English garden-themed Chang Beer brand activation stand for Taste of London 2019 in Regent’s Park — a major London set builder bespoke bar project for IMG.
The Brief
Deliver an English Garden party-themed stand that hosted a main Chang Beer bar, a food booth for partner Thai restaurants and comfortable seating for festival-goers, all evolving from an initial 8m x 3m footprint to a final 23m x 10m, one of the biggest stands on site.
Our Approach
Over a five-month design process between London and Singapore, our team specified tailor-made pergolas draped in ivy and elegant planters built around Chang's logo with palm trees at the centre. The workshop produced 52 seats, 5 tables, 2 pergolas, 2 planters, the bar and outside walling and flooring. Chang logos and brand graphics were applied through vinyl and foamex, tying the bar to the partner food booth, which was fitted out as a fully functioning kitchen with deep fat fryer, large freezer, food washing sink and a hand wash station, hosting four rotating Thai restaurants.
