Every summer we spend weeks in a rented van, driving custom bar builds and festival activations from our West London workshop to festival sites across the UK. Here are the ones we are most excited to have designed, built and installed for this year — and where you can find our work if you happen to be on the ground.
Taste of London — Regent's Park
Our long-running partnership with Sharp's Brewery brings the Doom Bar beach bar back to Taste. If you spot the driftwood cladding and the reclaimed net installations, that is us.
The Big Feastival — Alex James's Farm, Oxfordshire
Another Sharp's build — the Doom Bar Beach expands this year into a bigger venue footprint. Timber-clad, hand-finished, and open all weekend.
Somersault — Castle Hill Estate, North Devon
Our Sharp's Brewery Beach Bar for Somersault Festival — a proper piece of coastline built inland, complete with actual sand.
London Beach Rugby — Finsbury Square
Sharp's again, taking the beach bar formula into central London for the Rugby weekend. Full transformation of the square, in and out inside 48 hours.
Barcode Festival — Hawker House, Canada Water
Mugshot's giant 3m x 3.1m mug returns, plus supporting activations across the festival grounds.
Waitrose Drinks Festival — London
Our immersive build for the Waitrose Drinks Festival, plus supporting scenic and hero moments across the site.
Bacardi across Europe
The 'You Say You Want A Revolution' touring bar keeps travelling — Glasgow, Birmingham, London, Hamburg, and more locations as the summer rolls on.
What we notice, doing this year after year
Festival crowds notice detail more than boardrooms do. A tacky finish or an unmatched paint colour reads instantly in daylight, and gets photographed and posted before we have finished the load-out. That is why our festival builds go through the same design-build-install pipeline as our corporate work — same workshop, same makers, same standards.
