Savage Garden – London Rooftop Bar
Trinity Set & Stage designed and built a Californian winery-themed bespoke rooftop bar for Savage Garden at the DoubleTree Hilton Tower Bridge — a 2019 London brand activation and private hire upgrade.
The Brief
Refresh the rooftop into a cosy yet open environment that retained the panoramic London cityscape views while making the venue more attractive to private hire, in time for the spring weather in April 2019.
Our Approach
We split the project into two zones. The first simulated the outdoor feel of a Californian winery, with five bespoke pergolas dressed in vine-covered planters and clusters of benches and tables. The second area depicted a wine cellar interior, using canyon stone brick wall graphics, wine barrel imagery and bespoke wine barrel poseur tables with laser-etched branding for a rustic, lived-in finish. The bar entrance featured two walls with grand iron gates evoking a real Californian winery, framing a graphic of grape fields and clad in the same canyon stone effect onto the stair banisters. Total install: three days.
